- wash walls, ceilings and trim
- consider painting with a neutral
color
- put dishes away
- make beds
- turn on lights and open drapes/blinds
- keep pets out of the way and
their areas clean
- ensure carpets are clean
- organize closets and cupboards
- remove any clutter
